Julien Hatswell, Born 17/11/68

Since early childhood, I've had the compulsion to make and paint the musings of my mind. School and acedemia were largely lost on me, often being admonished for daydreaming and showing little inclination for schools miserable petty conformities. My escape was art, mainly after School and during holidays, the act of making or painting seemed my Prime Directive. The glorious liberation of art college in 1986 allowed me to initially explore Interior Design and eventually settle on a Prototype/Industrial Design qualification. It also established my prefered style of organic symbolism, expressed in the genius of Antonio Gaudi, H.R.Giger, and Hector Guimard...so many G's....
